Major guilty pleasures in Music

I’ll start with Aqua the whole first album. Everyone loved Barbie girl but i also loved My oh My a lot and a few others.

reply

I OWN AND ENJOY EVERY AQUA ALBUM...LENE'S SOLO ALBUM AS WELL. NOEMOJI

reply

This surprises me, I wouldn’t have picked you as an Aqua fan!

I found them extremely irritating mostly, although Turn Back Time was quite lovely.. mainly because it sounded nothing like anything else they did.

reply

YEAH...BIG TIME WHEN THEY WERE FRESH...I DON'T PULL THE ALBUMS OUT MUCH BUT MY DAUGHTER IS NOW A FAN SO SHE PLAYS THEM FOR ME. NOEMOJI

reply

I don't know if this is a guilty pleasure, but I'm a rocker and don't really listen to anything that's not rock, but I love The Chemical Brothers. It's the only electronic music I can tolerate.

reply

I have always liked them also. I’ve got Exit Planet Dust on vinyl, but I like lots of EDM.

reply

I own "Dig Your Own Hole".

reply

I wish I had that one so I could spin those block rockin beats!

reply

I have all their albums and can see how they could crossover into Rock.

reply

Maybe in a Radiohead way.

reply

I thought it was prodigy that bridged that gap

Also all metalheads I know have tremendous repect for Prince , even though his music is way off their demographic

reply

Absolutely agree regarding the Prodigy.

Prince was a musical genius.

reply

Air Supply

But I don't feel guilty about it. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

So beautiful I blubbered the entire time. Just magical.

reply

tissue, please.

reply

Animotion.

reply

Are they an obsession?

reply

Haha. They're not bad. But they're cheesy.

Alanis Morrisette is another one. It's girl music but I like it.

reply

Obsession was the only song of theirs I know, I bought the 7" as a kid.

reply

i engineer is catchy enough. obsession is one of my favorite music videos.

reply

Yeah, the video is as memorable as the song.

reply

Madonna*, Kylie Minogue, Taylor Swift.

*80's and 90's.

reply

Guilt is an emotion I never experience listening to my girl Kylie, she’s pure joy to me 😊

reply

I'll soon be listening to her Christmas album again. 😊

reply

Here’s an early Christmas present for you, buddy 🎄💃

reply

Thanks, I've never watched either of those before, I'll be sure to view them again in December. 😉

reply

I honestly can’t answer this question because I love so many different styles of music and I don’t feel guilty about listening to any of them. For me a good singer or song trumps what is supposedly embarrassing or uncool every time.
