My wants from cities vary too much to just list a top 5 for one thing. Since I just got home from a lovely dinner, I shall do where I'd like to go for foodie travel

Not in any particular order
1. Singapore, Singapore
2. Osaka, Japan
3. Leon, France
4. New Orleans, USA
5. Florence, Italy

I would never had thought New Orleans would make anyone’s list, but yeah, it does have some great restaurants.

I've never been, but I do love the cuisine. I have friends who go every year and are always sending me picture of food.

I do not agree with Dubai and I must ask why?

Okay, I really needed to update my knowledge on that one. When I was a kid Dubai was a relatively small backwater Arab emirate. Yeah, it's oil rich. But I assumed any vibrancy would be killed by Islam.

But wow, from what I see now it looks amazing.

I’ve been to Dubai many times and the crazy architecture is awesome. It’s a super destination; virtually crime free, clean, efficient and safe.

I'm in the U.S. Are you in Europe by any chance?

I'm wondering if Dubai is a popular destination for Europeans. I know no one who's been there.

Tokyo seems more lively and a happening place than Moscow. Russia seems very bleak and dreary actually.

Heidelberg, Germany - used to live near there as a boy. School field trips to the magnificent castle, palace and garden are memorable.
