battlestar galactica's pilot episode got released as a movie in canada, and it was a very big deal to the young damosuzuki. i read the novelization more times than a rational, well adjusted kid should have.

i still like revisiting the pilot every now and then. it's fun. fuck you, yes it is.

I remember the series was big for me as a kid. I think I also remember action figures too.

i had action figures, i had a toy viper, i had a toy cylon raider. i was very heavily invested in the bsg world.

Speed(1994)

I think it had to be Star Wars (1977), Jaws (1975) and Raiders of the List Ark (1981). Those types of films were bigger than life to me seeing them as a kid.

As a young adult it was seeing Pulp Fiction (1994) in the theater while on LSD. It was amazing.

Then later it was Italian genre films like The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966), The Italian Connection (1974), The Beyond (1981) and Tenebrae (1982) that launched me into trying to see as many of those films as possible and continues to this day.
