it appears that vaccinated folks can pass an infection for 3-4 days, while an un-vaccinated and consequently seriously infected person can pass it for up to 10 in most all cases, and sometimes beyond 20.
not to mention getting unnecessarily sick (as a dog, in some cases, agonizingly lethally, in others) themselves.

Again, look at Israel and Russian data and see how it contrasts with that. The info out there from "reliable sources" is all over the place. In the end, scientists think what their funders think.

What conclusions am I supposed to draw ?
A month or so ago, Israel, having 90% of its pop jabbed, had the highest infection rate in the world. Since the "breakthrough*" cases amazingly their cases are down. But don't say the words "natural immunity" or you are some kind of science denier.
Russian data collection on themselves and the broader picture show much more conservative death rates vs infection. Controlling their information? Could it be that they are the only ones??
*"breakthough" being the narrative jargon used to paint the shortcomings of the vaccines a prettier color. Like the virus was so powerful that it broke through the defense rather than the defense being inadequate. He who controls the language controls reality.
I don't follow you. Breakthru implies some effect against resistance, and I'm not sure that such a term is misplaced. With 10% of the population un-vaxxed and some portion of that portion naturally immune, what effect are we to attribute to them ?
I basically don't understand your larger point. Unless there is something I don't understand, a largely immunized population saw some reinfection due to a novel variant with some permeability, which flowed through the population with little serious effect ??
Help me out - I really want to understand what you are getting at. Are you contending that the 90% vaccination rate in the population wasn't the ruling factor in determining the response to covid variant(s) ?
