yes memorial tattoos are especially cringe. u should remember people in you mind. getting some dumb doodle of them on your skin just so other people feel sorry for you is the most poser/attention whore thing u can do. i exclude meth dealers and sailors cuz they actually do really dangerous high risk jobs and getting tats isnt posing since they are actually living hardcore lifestyles

The indigenous peoples of Borneo have had tattoos for hundreds of years before it was cool. The Nubians to the south of Egypt are known to have used tattoos thousand years prior. Sailors and meth dealers are the posers.

With women, I don't mind a small tattoo but when I see one huge one or a bunch of small ones, I find it such a huge turnoff. My brother has a thing for girls with tattoos and he tells me I'm ignorant and living in the 20s because I think they're ugly.

And I always laugh when people with tattoos say, "they mean something to me". I mean, obviously it does, but that doesn't mean I can't think they're ugly. And I'm sure a guy with a Hitler tattoo has meaning behind his tattoo too.

I think that's the appeal. It's a statement that stays. There are some really horrible looking tattoos out there, but unless it's misspelled, I don't judge someone by their art work. Or the holes they have.

What about him? He's making a statement with his looks. Honestly if I came across someone who looked like that I'd want to talk to them. If he wasn't tattooed a person like that would still find ways to express themselves. Do I find him attractive? No. But he didn't do that for me. I knew a guy who got his tongue split. He was an intelligent person, he just had a desire to have it done. I think his sex partners might have liked it.

Single ear piercings with a modest set of earrings would be acceptable. Not the outrageous stuff. I don't mind someone following conventional fashion. Example: A woman who uses eye make-up sparingly, just enough to enhance her appearance, is fine. One who applies thick fake eyelashes and caked-on mascara along with purple glittered eye shadow is not.

There are the occasional exceptions, but I think most tattoos I see on people are usually really tacky and ugly and too often generic.

I mean if your just gonna get a tattoo, you might as well not bother if your gonna get swirly dark green crap down your arms or a Rosicrucian cross or skulls or flowers.
