Which movie should you have seen by now but haven’t?

Mine is Body of lies 2008. Two of my favourite actors, one of my favourite director, one of my favourite genre and owned it on DVD for at least six years…

I just haven’t watched it yet. 🤷‍♂️

Also, do you own a movie since a long time but you haven’t ever watched?

I sure do!

I bought a copy for a Guilty by suspicion 1991 (anyone seen it?) in a Walmart bin for five bucks about 12 years ago and never popped it yet. Bought it because it’s with Robert De Niro.

A couple of film noir classics I have yet to see.

The Night Of The Hunter (1955) Directed by Charles Laughton with Robert Mitchum.

Touch of Evil (1958) It stars Charlton Heston as a mexican!

reply

Even I have seen Night of the hunter!!! And I saw like 100 movies from the 50’s. Top. Top top top.

reply

Night of the Hunter is awesome.

Touch of Evil is very good.

reply

Run (2020) It was recommended to me months ago.
Lovely Molly (2011)

reply

Lovely molly? A horror movie? Wy?

reply

Oh your joking Ha ha ha...Its right in my wheel house.

reply

Why this one?

reply

I try to see every horror movie, even if its only me fast forwarding through the first 30 minutes.

reply

“I try to see every horror movie”

That would be quite a feat indeed.

reply

Well that and Mystery. I don't have much interest in big drama, or comedy, which these days just isn't funny.

reply

Oh, so you are speaking about new releases?

reply

Yes.

reply

I want to be surprised by a movie. Thats what I'm looking for. Even if I hate it, but didn't see the ending coming it gets a 6/10. example. The Wolf of Snow Hollow (2020)

reply

It’s always fun watching a movie without knowing much about it beforehand. 👍

reply

What's wrong with Lovely Molly?

reply

Absolutely nothing. Just that I haven’t heard of it and seems a bit obscur.

I expected big titles in this thread.

reply

Ah. I haven't seen it in years but I remember I liked it.

reply

'Lovely Molly' is excellent. It's one of the last great indie horrors that I remember being really haunted by.

It gets even creepier when you google how Johnny Lewis (one of the stars) died in real life.

reply

Once Upon a Time in American and Malcolm X. I have both on blu ray, but have never gotten around to them.

reply

I own Malcom X too. Both these movies are also on my watchlist.

reply

'Once Upon a Time in America' would be one of mine, as well.

reply

I too was about to name same film

reply

Wow that's a good film. Malcolm X, not so much, OK

reply

lawrence of arabia
cloud atlas.

reply

Loved both these movies!!

reply

Still haven't seen Amélie (2001).

reply

Oooh!

It’s very nice and charming but I think you’ll be disappointed. 8/10 for me!

reply

Just for you, I'll give it a whirl. :-)

reply

Cool!

reply

AMELIE IS GREAT BUT THE TATOU FILM THAT HAS STAYED WITH ME IS... HE LOVES ME,HE LOVES ME NOT(2002)

reply

For me there are so many.

Ones that I own but haven't opened yet.
Eyes Wide Shut
District 9
Life of Pi

reply

Great films!!

reply

I loved the Life of Pi novel, and bought the movie on impulse, but I just can't bring myself to watch it.

reply

District 9 is great. Chappie was not as good, but OK.

reply

'E.T.'
Every 'Rambo' movie
'Robocop'

Tons more...

reply

Rambo is great. Robocop is even better!

reply

I have no doubt. I will watch them someday. They're only 40 years old. Don't rush me!!

reply

Ha ha! Take your time but hurry up! ;)

reply

First Blood is good. The first Robocop was great, the second one was pretty good too.
