The Tree of Life is a beautiful boring film. Skip the film and just watch the trailer.

Space 2001

Solaris

Vertigo - Love the intro and music. Great photography too, but this is one Hitchcock flick that just doesn't do it for me.

Borat - Inane and boring

Another vote for 'The Revenant'

That's a pretty good list.

I loved Citizen Kane when I saw it for the first time.
Couldn't stand it when I tried to watch it with the younger generation to show them the older classics.

Tree Of Life was so bad that the theater that I was watching it in had projector problems, and the whole audience sat there doing nothing because they thought it was part of the stupid movie.

I made it through The Revevant, but only because the scenery was so spectacular.

I think I am the only person in the world who didn't like either BladeRunner ... having read the book years before it came out. I found it tolerable as a kid, but can't say I liked it or understood what others liked about it.
