I don't either is boring or just too long. At the end it's great movie.
It's just too long. 216 minutes?? Being too long,it has plenty of boring parts. Especially characters introductions.
MY FATHER'S FAVORITE MOVIE...I HAVE SEEN NUMEROUS TIMES OVER THE YEARS...IT IS GREAT...BUT BORING AND TEDIOUS...I DON'T GET IT.

shareI agree about Lawrence of Arabia. I think I'm pretty patient, but I can't get through that one. I like the rest of them, that I've seen. (I have not seen Age of Innocence, Tree of Life, and The Orphanage)

I could watch Good,Bad,Ugly which is rare because I usually can't rewatch 3 hours movies.
But GBU is just entertaining,very well paced,with great performances. Especially from Eli Wallach,who is biggest reason why is GBU that high.
But,I can see why someone find this movie boring. Any 3 hours movie can be boring at times.
