Yes, though my brother's a bigger enthusiast than I am. When we were kids, I'd spend more time watching him play consoles that weren't the PC than playing them myself. I'll never forget those fun times when he'd use our old Atari console to play things like Dungeons and Dragons, Utopia, and all those other games with giant pixels, hehehe.
When he got his first playstation, I watched him play a very early version of "Legend of Zelda." We're talking one where all the characters were short and silly-looking, and the music was very distinct.
I was (and still am) more a fan of PC games. The earliest games I remember watching dad and my brother play were "Wolfenstein," "Oregon Trail," "Amazon Trail," "SimAnt," and a lunar lander game.
I myself would play stuff like "Magic School Bus," "Storybook Weaver," the Mahjong game that came with my computer, Tetris, The Sims, The Sims 2, things like that. Around the time I was finishing up high school, I was introduced to city-building games, which are a ton of fun. Started with "Zeus: Master of Olympus" and continued with its expansion, "Poseidon: Master of Atlantis." I attempted to play the Roman game and Cleopatra, but they stank. I loved "Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom," "Children of the Nile," "Black and White 2," "Black and White 2: Battle of the Gods," and a few others. I also found Veterinarian games to be fun, though they're made more for kids than someone who is serious about the profession.
My brother introduced me to MMO's in the late 2000s, so I became a fan of 3rd-person games. I played "Pirates of the Caribbean Online," (I still am sad that it no longer exists), "Nine Dragons," "Perfect World," and "Star Trek Online," and "Star Wars the Old Republic," (the last two I still play). Eventually dad and my brother introduced me to the Mass Effect Trilogy. I don't mind playing the first two over and over again, but the third one bothers me a lot. Am also a fan of "Mass Effect Andromeda."
