Films you like that have an imdb rating under a 5.0

Out of curiosity, I did a search for Oscar-nominated feature films rated no higher than 4.9. I got 20 hits and haven't seen any of them

I went through over 300 films listed on IMDB and the only one I found I like is:

Batman and Robin (1997) 3.8 7/10 - first time I saw this I thought it was one of the worst films ever made but I started to look at it as a comedy and as a comedy it works really well, even if it is unintentional

Yor, the Hunter from the Future, 4.4. Haven't seen it in years. I'm afraid to watch it and kill such a wonderful memory 😁

The Maciste series, loved it when I was a kid. Half of them are under 5. The Italian Peplum from the 60s AKA Sword&Sandal deserves better.

BloodRayne ones from Uwe Boll. They're bad, but oddly fun, and... still bad 😂

A Sound of Thunder, 4.2. It could have been much better, true, but... 4.2??? Is that a joke?

Pretty Dead, 4.4. It's not a great movie, but it's not a under-5 one. Slow pacing, you keep wondering until the end whether she's becoming a zombie or she's just mental.

Ghosts of Mars, 4.9. Yeah, it was a failure. But c'mon, it's John Carpenter. No movie from Carpenter should have such a low score, no excuses, there should be some universal law forbidding it.

Xanadu. It's 5.3. It's not under 5 but still, c'mon, it's a good movie.

Bloodsucking Bastards, 5.7. It's not under-5, but it's still way lower than it deserves. One of the best horror comedies last years.

And something similar can be said about Ava's Possessions, a more subtle comedy that's more worthy than a 5.6.

Interesting thread. The only film on my list of good bad movies under 5 is
Nude Nuns with Big Guns (2010) *3.9
I'm sure there are others but I'd have to juggle them in a spreadsheet to spot them.

I couldn't find a movie I liked under 5.0.... And the only ones that are under 6 are ones with 40 views.

It only has a 4.5 score on IMDb and is despised by almost everybody, but I found it good enough.
