The SURREALISTIC film called INLAND EMPIRE by David Lynch.
Because the LEADING man in the TALE goes around seducing all of the other females who have parts in the film (from the LEADING actress to those who only have bit parts in it where they're extras).
And he does it by using the same PICK UP LINE and telling them that he's NEVER MET anyone like them before (which gets MOCKED by them and turned into the victims saying to each other "Tell me if you knew me before.)"
And he also tells his DIRECTOR that he doesn't do REMAKES after he discovers the film he's making is a remake of another one. But the IRONY is how he does REMAKES each time that he uses the same PICK UP LINE (never knowing anyone like them before) whenever he seduces one of the girls (and basically does the same scene with them over & over again).
And he's also so CHEAP and SLEAZY that he also takes some of them to the bedroom area of the MOVIE SET to seduce them, because if he took them to a REAL HOTEL ROOM that was located outside of the MOVIE LOT, then the SPIES who follow him around would also have reported what he's doing to the rest of the world (who he was seducing and having sex with) -- which would also have kept him from seducing so many of the other girls (who would also know that they weren't as unique or as special to him as he let them think they were by using his PICK UP LINE on them).
In other words, it's a film primarily aimed at the behavior of MEN, but what's also IRONIC is how males will also see it as being a film that is mostly aimed at the behavior of females.
But the song about the "SINNERMAN" in the closing scene also makes it pretty clear that it's a film about the SINS of the MALE character.
