shareI would think "Oh, it's a Muslim woman, whatever." But a small part in my mind would feel bad for her.
I've actually seen Muslim women where I live, but they don't cover up that much. Most will have their faces visible, but they always make sure they have a hijab on the head, and cover up their bodies, save for their hands and faces, and their clothing is surprisingly colorful. I even saw black Muslim women a few times, so I'm guessing those ladies came from some place like Somalia. Again, they are still not common in my area, and the only reason I see them is because I live near a major city, so you tend to see more exotic people in the surrounding counties.
When my family went to Disneyworld in 2015, we actually ran into something surprising at security when we got to the Magic Kingdom. There were two Muslim girls in front of us, and they had the most unusual clothes on. Both had leggings, lightweight purple, long-sleeve tees on, purple hijabs, and Minnie Mouse ears with pink sequins! I was so surprised when I saw them wearing those! :o
