If you were gonna make a zombie film...

I’m thinking of a Faster Pussycat Kill, Kill / Dawn of the Dead vibe set in 1982 with our heroines being fast car driving punk rockers who take safe haven in a creepy shack out in the desert.

The dead are brought back to life by parasitic organisms from outer space. They can take control of both living and dead hosts. The living can be saved but it is only a matter of time before they become undead.

I’d do a remake of Jacques Tournier’s masterpiece, I Walked With A Zombie. Zombies are corpses temporarily reanimated by Voodoo magic. The DO NOT eat brains. They are NOT fast, or strong, nor intelligent. They are dead, slave vessels.

Not for nothing, werewolves turn into 4-footed wolves, not bipedal humanoids.

Vampires are corpses occupied by a demon. They have not 1 scintilla of the memories or personality of the corpse’s dead soul, and they cannot have sex.

The zombies would shoot bees from their mouths.

The zombies don't eat brains or attack people, it's the humans that do it and the zombies must fend for themselves.

Mine would be about the dead rising from their graves with an unburdening desire not to eat brains but to vote! 😀
