If you were gonna make a zombie film...
What would it be about? How would it be different from the others?
shareI would like to make a zombie movie without zombies.
So there's a zombie movie nerd. He has a mysterious mental illness that makes him see everyone else as zombies. He would stay in his basement for years until someday a zombie came down to attack.
Struggling for "survival" he finally masacred the "zombie." The police came but he thought they were zombies too, so he fled and started killing random people along the way to survive in his "zombie apocalypse."
While running from the "zombie police" he somehow starting to find people that aren't zombies. Which is weird, right? Because all the "zombies" are actually normal people. They're just zombies inside his head.
Turns out that his mysterious mental illness was caused by a virus. And actually he spreads it while he was in the run. The "normal people" he met were the ones he had infected.
They would then spread the zombie-hallucination virus even further. More and more people think they're trying to survive from zombies while in reality they're just doing mindless killing sprees! The world is in chaos and there're still no zombies!
I haven't thought out the endgame yet. But generally, the premise was like that.
