Ever See a Movie on LSD?

If so, which movies? Could you describe it (not the movie)?

(I never have…. don't think I could watch any TV under the influence)

I can neither confirm nor deny this, but I will say I’ve been to the theater and had one amazing experience and one horrible one. The amazingly great one was Pulp Fiction and the horrible one was Faces of Death IV.

reply

Nah, it's always a chair for me.

reply

Nope. But I have stared at shag rugs, walls and other usually inanimate objects for extremely long periods of time.

reply

Yes, I have. But only once.
Even though I had seen this particular film previously, I must say that The Exorcist was an utter freak-out on LSD.
And afterwards was worse.
I had no problems walking home (yes, you can do that when you live in New York) but once I got there I could not escape the feeling that the devil (who did not, repeat not, have a blue dress on) was waiting for me in my bedroom, so I spent the next six hours in my living room listening to music and watching TV.
Obviously, I did not play this song ... https://youtu.be/7WXhbixla0c

Sounds like you’ll never forget that one.

reply

I've watched movies while stoned (high on cannabis).

reply

The original Star Wars trilogy. It was amazing. Like being in the movies on the adventure.

reply

Yeah, I can see that being an enjoyable trip.

reply

Never heard of that network. Is it on cable?

In college a half dozen friends and I would get together for a group LSD trip, once every month or so. We started that during junior year, so maybe ten to twelve group trips total. As far as I can recall we never watched a movie. But one did we did have the TV going and watched the local station's syndicated reruns for a while. I don't remember what the other show we watched was, but watching The Andy Griffith Show while stoned out of my mind was a bizarre experience (in a funny way). Like TandyMan said, it was kind of like actually being in the story.

one time me and a friend were on it, still up at 5am with the tv on.
Yogi bear comes on.

And i swear to god theres an episode where he goes to space! instead of running round the forest stealing pic-a-nic baskets , he was rowing through space in a big bubble of some sort ....

That freaked us out.
