Let's remember that no evidence was provided. He alleged it was consensual. It was her word against his. The sentence was based only in her accusation, with no evidence.
How could you really dislike masterpieces like the Last Jedi or Ghostbusters (2016) unless you're some kind of misogynistic alt right incel? It's just a fact. I hear there have been studies and stuff.
It just seems to have become human nature to want to be obstinate much of the time and offend others. I've come to believe that's the only reason why people like and dislike other things in life, to annoy others. I don't see how anyone could like a group like Aerosmith for any other reason than they know they're obnoxious losers and irritate others. That's just one case in point.
Because I hate the fact that they exist. I could never be incompetent at my job like they are and expect to keep it. They're just so ridiculously annoying. That freak behind the microphone more less just screams out "just give me attention, I need attention, and your giving it to them.
I guess if someone has that much anger in their lives and they feel it is therapeutic to take it out on a band or some celebrity online that is different to directly attacking another human being online just for having different tastes.
Hmmmm... i like Aerosmith and it was never my intention to piss anyone off with. I actually barely even talk about them. It's not my favourite band, but I find their music entertaining.
There's something wrong there. I'm sure I make better sounds than that freak (Steven Tyler) while sitting on the pot with my but. What's wrong with some people? What's this world come to? They're not a band, bands produce music. That's pure garbage! I'm a musician.
You're a musician?
Surely then you can appreciate that music comes in all flavours and genres.
I mean theres a lot of shouty rock bands producing similar music.
many sound worse than Aerosmith in my opinion.
There's something wrong with western society for people to somehow find amusement in such putrid sounding garbage. And I'm convinced Aerosmith really started the wrecking ball swinging on the ruination of the rock genre of music. Everything about them is repulsive, from there sound, to how they pose for pictures. There so called songs are absolutely stupid and make no sense. Who cares about a "rag doll", what's "love in an elevator" and again who cares? And "dude looks like a lady" and so on. Sounds mindless like something someone on acid and every other narcotic drug in the book would write. Then how they go about promoting their garbage is low. They're such pathetic losers! I'm glad I travel, as I've noticed in other countries like Mexico and Greece to name a couple, they still know what beautiful music is.
Before I got rid of my Twitter, I once tweeted that I thought Beyonce was overrated. I then had a bunch of her fans (male and female) coming after me saying, "you're just jealous of a successful black woman". Like, what does her being successful, black or a woman have to do with me thinking she's overrated? People's minds automatically go to race and misogyny. That makes them the racists and misogynists, not me.
All of her Grammy's. The fact that she's considered a great writer when she's never solely written a song by herself to know which part of the writing is hers. Her solo music is worse than it was with Destiny's Child.
People dont always mean that. You can use the term "overrated" even when theres no system of awards on the fireplace.
If generally "everybody" is saying how wonderful this person is , but you dont think so , you can say 'overrated imho'
By everybody i mean tv hosts , djs , jouirnalists etc , as well as people you know
You attacked me in one of your threads. I had given a polite reply when you laid into me calling me unreasonable, religious nutter, and prudish.
A few other posters were like, whoa dude! And you apologized to everyone in the thread but me.
Sometimes, it's because of ongoing animosity. See a random comment in the middle of an ongoing feud and it'll look random, but it may have been provoked in a different thread.
1.) It's a troll who comes in and says something provocative to rile people up, just for fun --> twisted bastards >:(
2.) It's an angry response (which anyone can make, troll or not troll) in response to someone being mean and insulting when they say stuff online.
It's some kind of psychological phenomenon, now that you mention it. People feel braver when anonymously behind a keyboard, a computer screen, and a pseudonym. Often people will say things online or behave in a way online that they would never be like in real life. It's one of those unforseen consequences of introducing the internet to the masses. People are more likely to take risks in talking online than they would face-to-face with the person(s) they're arguing with.
Totally agree AmeriGirl26. Long before the internet became so popular, I read a similar question about rude drivers and road rage. Same thing. People feel anonymous in their cars. If their license plates had their names on them, many drivers would think twice about acting like selfish clowns.
Yeah, the internet has been a wonderful invention, has sped up communication, allowed for innovation, progress in technology, and access to information....
...but nobody could have predicted the darker consequences of such an innovation. Trolls being rude is surprisingly the least nasty outcome, strange as that sounds.

Misinformation spreads much more rapidly today than ever. And terrorist and criminal groups can network more easily than at any point in the past. I take it that's what you're referring to?

Aw man, I could write an entire book on the darker consequences of the internet! For brevity's sake, I'll just mention that the worst aspect that was born out of the internet was....The Dark Web..... cue the ominous music... Even scarier is, it was born very soon after the World Wide Web became available, but nobody mentioned it until recent years. It's like the evil, dark twin of the internet, and thankfully, is not available to more than the few who know about it. Heck, the only way you can get in is by downloading a very specific browser, but I wouldn't. It's seriously not worth it. shivers
I can honestly say, after reading about it online, that The Dark Web totally goes under the phrase:
I remember reading about that. I'm afraid that war has been going on since the internet started too, but nobody outside the govt. and certain fringe groups was aware of it until the big breaches started happening in recent decades.
