some idiot i work with says he looking forward to her wedding next summer. they were together for three years and he's going to sit there and watch her marry another guy. and he's still single.

Maybe they’re still friends...maybe all is cool and friendly with all involved...looks and sounds a little unusual and odd, but to me, not shocking....

I actually did attend the wedding of a former girlfriend. It was pretty uncomfortable and awkward.

(You're probably wondering... why did I attend? It had to do with mutual friends being there. A rather long, complicated story... one I prefer to forget about.)

I can imagine. I'm sorry you had to feel that way. When my first boyfriend left me, so did our mutual friends. That made it worse.
