As an over thinker, I hate that so many questions can be answered on a depends.

Was it my ex from 6th grade? Sure.

Was it my high school ex that I dated for a week, freshman year of high school first week then we broke up but were good friends all during high school? Sure.

Anything more serious. Maybe no.
