Are there any lighthearted dramas around?
These cops really needed paramedic training.

The main problem with the social conflict is that the people who do feel the slightest offense over a comment feel entitled to shut down a discussion by any means. Yes, everyone has a right to dislike an idea, but all we can do is counter a bad idea with a better one. Censorship only makes people defend their views more strongly, and it can make bad ideas fester in secret.
I'm not surprised. Neighbors suck. I even tried to go to the mall a few years ago to be enclosed and insulated, but there were still bombs echoing from the subdivision nearby. It should be obvious that fireworks could trigger panic for veterans.
I'll be dreading nighttime, wearing earplugs and staying away from the windows.
If it's listed as Poor on trustpilot, it has to be terrible, because I'm convinced trustpilot takes payments to delete negative reviews. Whenever I look up another company that a sparkling reputation, I eventually see mixed or negative reviews on other consumer sites.
IMDb has never been great or reliable, but it was much better when they had the moderated boards, best-of lists, games and simple audience reviews.
Left Eye Lopes dying in a car crash. I was a huge fan of TLC in the 90s and it broke my heart. She was so young as well.
Also Kobe Bryant. However, as soon as I heard they boarded a private plane, it was unsurprising. Too many tragedies and close calls involving small planes.
In no order:
- When people are nasty and sloppy in public: unwashed hands, using perishable items and putting them back on the shelf, changing diapers in common areas, littering, etc.
- Bureaucracy. Having to make plans and sift through paperwork just to have an application sent in for anything is exhausting.
- Members-only shopping or database websites. I do not want to share my personal phone number or address just to get details on a service.
- When people relentlessly complain to a shop clerk or assistant thinking they can overrule a state law or policy by upper-management.
- When people on the highway cross three lanes to make their exit within five seconds.
- When people buy pets without studying the species or breed and then get rid of them out of boredom.
Lots of society-based peeves on this thread. Can't live with people, can't live without 'em.
For number 3, I thought those square suitcases were specifically labelled for under-seat storage.
It's good to be very upset about that. Seeing this made me angrier than any pet peeve: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uD_9ilmsYKw
I love a bargain but I've learned that some things are worth the extra cash, such as getting household staples at the smaller grocery store instead of waiting another hour to checkout at Walmart on a Sunday.
Yes, a few of my shitty neighbors buy those. I also live in a state that allows fireworks any night until 11pm, so people usually set them off from June until September. I've heard "shots" into October and as late as 2am. I need to move out to the country.
