Stick your sorry.

The UK's wannabe-but-never-will-be "Prince" Harry says he's "..sorry we haven't got the world to the place you deserve it to be'.

So, despite his groin-governed machinations and adventures with random American "celebrities" to try to become more "a man of the People", he still thinks he's "Us", and the rest of the world is "Them".

Now, I like the British Royal Family, and I positively love the Queen, but that Harry is a waste of space.

Tosser.

reply

well , he does a bit to help war veterans feel less wartorn

reply

I don't get into the change the world thing but not once have I ever thought it was Harry's or any of the Royal's responsibility to do that.

If he wants to be a man of the people he can get a job like everyone else. Until then, he is one of them.

Also have to say that if the best a young Prince can do is Markle than he has many problems of his own before he thinks about changing the world.

reply

" if the best a young Prince can do is Markle than he has many problems of his own."

Very good point.

It seems when a member of Royalty goes off the rails, they don't do it by half! Maybe it's a childish compulsion to "rebel" against their responsibilities, which admittedly are rather more heavy than most peoples'.

reply

He either must be very naive or just as intent on social climbing as she is, because it didn't take her long after the wedding to want to pull away from the whole thing and the wedding itself was a circus too. I think they will both fail although her being a female she will walk away with a fortune while he will be left out in the cold after walking away from his family.

reply

The first part of your statement makes no sense in regards to Harry - he has no need to social climb - he's as high up as they come - why would he be intent on that?

reply

Maybe he wanted to be king?

reply

Really?

reply

Maybe.

reply

Whether it's because he is too influenced by her or they share the same goals, he does want to social climb, but on his own terms. Yes, he was already high up there but he or Markle most likely didn't like having to play by someone else's rules so they broke away.

They are finding out it's not as easy as they hoped, she has little talent and without his title, he isn't interesting. They are also tying their cart to the Obama's which also puts many people off.

They have made it clear that Harry and Markle hope to make money outside the Royal family, so they are still trying to social climb, ironically, they thought it was worth letting themselves slide quite a bit down the hill to do that.

All very confusing and stupid.

reply

Yes, Artisan, that seems a pretty accurate prediction. And when it happens, he will have nobody to blame but himself, (and his gonads). I was going to say that the next few years are going to be interesting for Royal watchers, but of course they're not Royal; in any sense.

reply

Last I read the British public who would make up the majority of Royal Watchers see them both as traitors anyway for walking away. Their wedding in itself was a sign of what was to come, she wanted to put her own twisted brand on everything and when it was rejected or pushed back against, she threw a tantrum and Harry like a good little lap dog supported her.

reply

I wouldn't mind if they just disappeared from public life altogether. That at least would be the honest and polite thing to do. But of course that's not her plan. What his plan is, I have no idea, and I don't think he does either.

reply

From what I have read he is very lonely and isolated while she continues to try and create some status for herself despite already having achieved a great deal of status by marrying a former Prince!

I think they will leave the public eye eventually when the media realize no one cares and she realizes she has failed.

Also, he speaks as if we all have the same ideal for how we see the world, whose ideal is he speaking of? You can't make everyone happy. Another idiot billionaire supporting Socialism but will call the cops when the rioters turn up in his neighbourhood!

reply

"Another idiot billionaire supporting Socialism but will call the cops when the rioters turn up in his neighbourhood!"

Yes, I can well imagine Harry being that way. Maybe he still thinks he can summon the Royal Guard whenever he gets into a spot.

reply

I am a American, where does the Tosser come from? Why is it deemening?

reply

It's an alternative UK slang word for "wanker", meaning "Masturbator".

reply

That's what I thought, but wasn't sure.

We use the word 'jerkoff' or better yet 'jackoff'..best used sounding like Joe Pesci in Goodfellas.

reply

Yes, "Jerkoff" works as an onomatopoeic term, and "jackoff" would probably be a slightly more "polite" version. Or the Russian translation :) ...

reply

George is only marginally more annoying than Harry. :)

reply

Actually, I think I prefer Harry over William. He is more likable.

reply

We rarely get to see William's really personal, natural side because he has enough self-respect not to want to make a fool of himself. I can't fault that, can you?

Harry seems to lack that quality, and he also seems to have an element of undirected recklessness in his nature. If it was a choice of going to a pub with William or Harry, I'd rather William. Because I'd know I'd be able to enjoy myself without worrying about being embarrassed by him. We all know that one fellow who's a a load of fun at parties, but whom everybody avoids in public.

Haha, I can see a resemblance!

That guy's gonna wake up one day and find his wife is gone, and there's a letter demanding alimony, he'll only be able to talk to her through her sleazy lawyer, and and he's gonna have no idea how that happened.

reply

Yes. And I think he'll continue to pine for her even after that. I think he's that sort of fellow.

reply

"...he still thinks he's "Us", and the rest of the world is "Them"."

Everyone does, hon.
