Willow
Innerspace
I'd say Gremlins, but it could be a bit scary for children.

reply

Inner space is so random lol.

reply

I loved it. I remember I had been reading Fantastic Voyage (the book) when I watched it, and it was like "wow!"

reply

I agree Inner space was awesome, I had no idea it was a kidΒ΄s movie though.

reply

I watched for the first time when I was like 25. I don't remember thinking "kids movie". But I'm sure kids would like it.

reply

And another one. Not a movie but a series: Il etait une fois l'homme. The best series for kids ever.

Return to Oz
Masters of the Universe
Labyrinth
Watership Down
The Dark Crystal
Pee-Wees Big Adventure

reply

Watership Down isn't a kid's movie. Shits full of blood and violence.

reply

I watched it when I was a kid and survived.

Besides, it has nothing more disturbing than what we see on the news 24/7

reply

True as that is, I don't think it was made for kids. I was 8 when I saw it at a animation festival my sister & her fiance took me to. The festival was loaded with nudity, blood, cursing and other things little boys love. I was so stoked that they didn't yank me out of there right away.

reply

No, I guess you're right. Then again, as you can see from my other choices I have always preferred movies with a darker edge, even as a kid.

reply

LITTLE MONSTERS!
