Where were you 20 years ago on Dec 31/1999
We were at Niagara Falls ringing in the new millennium.
shareWe were at Niagara Falls ringing in the new millennium.
shareI was at home with a fire going. Watched the ball drop at Times Square because it was a new millennium.
I've never been much of a New Year's Eve partying type.
I was at home with my children. I tuned in for a few minutes to watch the ball drop in NYC, but after that it was time for bed. I've never gone out on New Year's Eve since I don't want to be out when the drunks are on the roads. The Y2K thing was a curiosity. I thought if it did turn out to be a problem, everyone would be affected so why worry? We were all in the same boat and we'd figure it out somehow.
shareProductive and Positive attitudes are sorely lacking...Well done and good for you!
shareAt home, mostly.
But I remember watching on TV as time zone after time zone would enter the new millennium. Björk did a performance from Iceland.
I guess a party at a family friend's house.
shareWatching TV with my 7 month old son on the floor.
My wife was working and a few friends stopped by .
A perfect serene evening!
