Where were you 20 years ago on Dec 31/1999

Preparing for that Y2K bug to take affect in my bomb shelter.

I took my steady, Patty, from Woodlawn in The Bronx to McClean Avenue in Yonkers by cab with a bunch of cash in pocket

We drank like pirates, bar hopped, danced together, shot some pool near a juke box and cabbed it home and had a good time;)

I have not seen sweet Irish Patricia in 20 years but this thread reminded me of her☺️

Living on a Miltary Stores Depot / Military Accomodation complex that was in the process of being sold off. I can't be sure but that evening I may have been watching a repeat of the Total Balalaika Show on television. It was a concert performed by the Leningrad Cowboys and the Red Army Choir in 1994 and was shown every New Year's Eve.

OH MAN...THAT WOULD BE RIGHT AFTER CHRISTMAS THE YEAR I GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL...I GURANTEE I WAS LOST IN A CLOUD OF SMOKE AND A LAKE OF EMPTY BOTTLES.LIFE WAS LIKE THAT FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS OR SO TOO....SO WASTEFUL.
