Do you eat a lot of fish?
I eat fish occasionally. But fish is good! Flounder and sole are probably my favorites!

Agreed!
shareAt least three days a week.
shareMy mom made excellent flounder and sole, which she bought very fresh from a farmer's market. Those days are over. Nowadays, I only eat fish & chips and McDonald's Filet-O-Fish.
shareWhat happened?
shareWell, I'm 60 years old and not much of a cook. But flounder/sole is super easy to prepare, once you've got the cooking time down. I'm not sure same-day-caught fish is available in Reno. We are less than a three hour drive from the Pacific Ocean, so maybe it is, I haven't really investigated.

I like the oily fish - mackeral, herring and caplin
shareMackarel is too dry for me....
shareyou have to marinate it

I guess that is the key to good mackerel.....
shareAbout once a week. I should eat more, but I’m always scared about choking on a fish bone.
