Triangle made my head hurt.
sharei liked triangle. have you ever seen time crimes? that's probably my favourite low-budget time shenanigans film.
shareNo but it does look intriguing on imdb. Am I the only one who has a second window open for Imdb to respond on this site . and if I'm honest the dictionary, I hate spelling things wrong.
sharei don't use imdb myself. if i'm looking into a film i'll usually go to letterboxd & its wiki page.
as for spelling errors, i just rely on the squiggly red lines that pop up in my dialogue box. but on sites that don't have such a thing, i do usually run my posts through a google doc or an online spell-check tool.
I liked Triangle but I thought Time Crimes was really bad. WAY too many idiotic and unrealistic mistakes that no one with a modicum of intelligence would make.
shareThe Spirit of St. Louis (1957)
Gilbert (2017)
King Rat (1965)
Mutiny on the Bounty (1935)
The Bounty (1984)
Bobby Fischer Against The World (2011)
Cromwell (1970)
Breach (2007)
Young Winston (1972)
Hitler: The Last Ten Days (1973)
The Gathering Storm (2002)
I've seen all the Bobby Fischer documentaries and they were all good.
sharethese are the films i gave 5 stars on letterboxd in the last 2 years or so that i suspect most people won't know.
tower (2016) incredibly tense doc on the charles whitman university of texas mass shooting that used roto-scope animation brilliantly. some may have seen it, but it deserves to be more widely known, i'd say.
madeline's madeline (2018) got a lot of critical praise last year, but haven't seen much evidence that it broke out of its small indie bubble.
rat film (2017) weird, experimental documentary, & quite current, since it focuses in part on rat infestation in baltimore, a timely issue since someone you may have heard of chose to spout off on twitter about such matters.
my life as a zuchinni (2017) 100% charming & deeply moving french stop-motion animation about kids in an orphanage.

shareLooks very interesting. A Mystery I assume...
shareAn adventure! I highly recommend it; it's different.
shareThis is another one from the same year https://moviechat.org/tt0059675/Sands-of-the-Kalahari. I also read the book to this one.
shareTwo thumbs up for The Naked Prey
shareI’ve never seen it but I think I remember it being referenced on Mad Men once.
