I love an old Hammer film called "The Plague of the Zombies" (1966). The release year is a key point to notice. Two years earlier than "Night of the Living Dead". Don't get me wrong I love Night but it completely changed people's concept of what a zombie is. Turned them into flesh eaters, which historically, is not really what they are. Plague is an old school traditional zombie movie and I personally think it is GREAT!!!
I also think "Inferno" (1980) is Argento's true masterpiece.
