I think of winter like it's Jason Vorhees...it keeps jumping up again!
A sure indicator of spring for me is the scent of a skunk prowling through the neighborhood at night and the sound of geese overhead returning north.

We have a skunk population around here too, and itβs also the time of year to be extra careful on the roads after dark because of all the deer running around.

In a matter of a week we've gone from shoveling snow to shoveling sand for sandbags, dodging snowbanks to dodging potholes, navigating icy spots to navigating puddles big enough to call them ponds! But hey, I'll take it! The long dark tunnel of winter is ending! π·π±πΌππΊπ»
Nothing says spring like sunshine and trees flowering around town :)
