What is your idea of the perfect pizza, and the perfect pizza dinner?

Mine is a thin-crust, crispy whole-wheat pie with red sauce made with fresh, organic Roma tomatoes, topped with mozzarella, romano and parmesan cheese, plus sweet Italian sausage, Portuguese linguese sausage, mushrooms, roast red peppers, red onions and green peppers. Complete the meal with very cold Lambrusco wine and Coca-Cola on ice, a large Cesar salad with anchovie filets (or else it's not a Cesar salad), and finish with very cold Dutch chocolate ice cream with hot fudge sauce and fresh strawberries. Also, Veuve Cliquot Grande Dame champaign. Then sex.

Your turn. White pizza? Chicago pizza? Pan pizza (not as deep as deep-dish/Chicago)? (God help us) Brazilian pizza? Domino's? Pappa John's? Pizzario Uno? Little Cesar's ? Microwave?

I'm on the East Coast and know pizza. I've been to Little Italy in both New York and Boston, and the New Haven pie places know me by name.

My wife and I keep it simple. Three pies:

1) Sausage and mushroom

2) Margarita

3) White broccoli garlic with ricotta cheese.

Depending on mood, either a bottle of Italian red or a craft beer. A garden salad with my home made dressing.

Grilled chicken barbecue with red onions and garlic complemented by some nicely chilled Samuel Adams Octoberfest. A great blend of earthy flavors !

Raw onions, or grilled onions? Each has its charms. And garlic is so good for you, but roast garlic, or garlic powder? I'm guessing you do roast.

Yes! No garlic powder for me. I used to get such a kick out of Emeril Lagasse when he would query his audience with a sly expression on his face, " More garlic ? BAM ! Done ! "

My creation: Honey garlic sauce mixed with tomatoe sauce, chicken, bacon, jalapenos and green peppers. Garlic dip and a coke for drink.

Pizza from a local family-run pizzeria. Either Italian sausage or pepperoni for toppings.

I don't do business with the giant corporate garbage chains such as Vomitno's, Little Sleazer's, Sloppa John's or Pizza Butt. Anytime you see a brand of "pizza" advertised multiple times during a single quarter of a football game it should be a red flag. This stuff is processed garbage, not pizza.
