Great Movies You Can Only Watch Once

I'll need a few minutes to think of this one... "The Battle of Algiers" is one of my favorite movies, but it's difficult to see.

Any porn.

reply

Yeah, which is why random movie nudity is so great, so much so that I made a nice edit on windows movie maker :)

Hey Billhicks fan.
You get lots of responses to your Opening posts, where you pose a question.
Blah blah movies about blah blah?
You rarely reply.
What's it all about?

reply

Hahaha. Funny how that works where completely unexpected scenes in movies can get you up faster than hardcore porn.

I know Apocalypse Now is lauded by many as a great movie but I wasn't that impressed with it and have no desire to see it again.

Martin Sheen's performance was decent enough but Brando appeared to be just resting on his laurels.

Sophie's Choice- Excellent film, but so dark and disturbing. It wasn't something I wanted to watch over and over.

Gandhi- another excellent story, but so deep and serious, not a fun movie. Once was enough for me.

reply

I agree with you on Gandhi. I've also seen it only once. I'm aware of Sophie's Choice but have never seen it. I would have to have a certain mindset in order to do so.

reply

Sophie's Choice was a fantastic novel. I can read some of my favorite books several times. But that was a book I could only read once, too dark and disturbing. Same is true for the film. The acting is great. But if you watch the movie, be prepared to be depressed.

I highly recommend it, but it is such a sad story.
