Yeah, that's one thing that really bothered me about the "Body Positivity" movement. The original idea behind it was to help build confidence in women not built like Barbie dolls, as well as providing more fashion options for them. But part of that movement also started with the idea of helping them build confidence, as they were choosing a healthier lifestyle and losing weight. It takes time to lose weight if you do it responsibly and in a way that doesn't hurt your body, so you gotta find a way to live with yourself during the transition phase, which can take up to 2 years for some people.

Almost immediately the movement was hijacked by toxic women that wanted to stay fat and get away with everything they did to become that way, including not being forced to make healthier changes to their lives. They didn't want to take responsibility for their own health and be "accepted for the size they are," rather than push for self-improvement. It's about as destructive as having a drug addiction (or any addiction, really).

Yeah, even stupid people quit doing stuff like that after enough hospital visits, though sometimes it ends in death.
