"Woke" simply means being aware of injustice. Why are so many celebrating its "end"?

I've become more 'sleep' lately. I tend to ignore the self righteous among us.

If woke dies, it dies. Trends and fads usually have short life spans.

That's what stupid woke people think it is but it's not what it really is.

What it really is is Political Correctness 2.0 that seeks to do nothing more but replace one flavor of hatred (real or perceived) with a new one. It's just a new and inventive way to judge and divide people. Only the intellectually stunted even buy into it.

Many straight white men don't want to share power. That's the real reason any path leading to equality is attacked by them.

The original definition of woke was always based on delusion. Being alert to social injustice often meant reading into things that aren’t there. You can twist anything to be racist, homophobic, misogynistic if you try, which they do. There is no systemic racism, and there is no patriarchy. We all have equal rights.

No, opposing racism, homophobia and woman-hating, etc. is just being a decent human being.

Considering oneself "woke" now refers to someone who sees social injustice where there is none, creating perceived victims out of thin air, where all so-called "whites" (a group that doesn't actually exist and is in fact comprised of an array of people as genetically and culturally diverse as each individual) are automatically guilty of causing "non-white" (another group that doesn't exist and that is just as diverse) failure simply by being born. i.e. "woke" now indicates those living in a made-up fantasy world that doesn't remotely reflect reality.

The original core premise of "wokeness" would be a good thing if it hadn't almost instantly devolved into a mass delusion and escalated so out of control that it threatened to end functional society on a global scale. We must stop grouping people by skin color. You know, that thing "Liberals" used to stand for (and real Liberals still are) and helped largely abolish while striving for equality of opportunity.
