[sigh... posting in POLITICS cuz people think that EVERYTHING that affects humans and society has to be political even when not attached to this or that party...]

DEI in business is winding down.
YES, it is still there, but more and more businesses are dropping it because it is senseless, accomplished nothing, and sucked away more budget than it was worth. I'm in a position to see the money side of this, but will not share details on that. Suffice to say it was money not well spent. Especially for a business's bottom line in these harder times.

So, what are people thinking about this?
Is it the end of the civilized world?
No one cares?
Will it come back?
Eh, just nature rebalancing reality yet again?
Other?

Most normal humans ALWAYS support fairness, but hiring based on sex or race will always be sexist and racist. How about the most skilled/qualified person for the job instead?

As long as libs have power in government and education and increasingly in large investment funds,

it will come back. Either just a new push, maybe with a name change, some new word salad justifying it,

they will never give this up. Handing out money and jobs has been the dem party path to power since forever.

But that doesn't sound sustainable at all. More like wishing.
How can they bend the laws of reality, if, in business, the money is not created from the effort?
Business bottom line is money, and saving that is job one to stay in business.

They don't care if the business fails. It is not their business, they just work there. They will bail out, and go find another job and do the same thing there.

It's not winding down. If democrats keep the White House, they'll double down on the insanity. No, it's not sustainable but it won't stop until the US is a 3rd world shithole. Democrats NEVER admit their myriad failures.

It can't sustain. Business can't support tanking their business.

It's like the government telling EVERYONE to buy electric cars, but almost no one can afford them, most car companies are backing down in making them.... reality just bitch slaps dreamland in the face, and moves on. It doesn't care.

i don't know how it's "fair" to give somebody a job just because they are black. but libs love nothing more than treat minorities like idiots if it gets some votes.
