1000s of people across the country rioted nightly. For months. 25 people died. 1000s were hospitalized; many police. And thousands if not millions more on Facebook and Twitter CHEERED for it. "Burn it down" they said. "It's just property" was their mantra. The current Vice President fucking tweeted out a bail fund that would later help release criminals.
Among the countless buildings they burned were a federal court house and police station. A group of them were ALLOWED to take over a part of Seattle for a month and had the balls to "demand" that none of them be arrested. That was literally one of their three demands.
These people wanted to change the way we live. They wanted to reshape society. It was absolutely an attempted coup and absolutely worse than Jan. 6th in every way.

People do though. Millions of people don't care about that tweet or what it was in reference to. They can't even admit it happened. Meanwhile, the same people are clutching their pearl over Jan. 6th, which was by all means a riot, but xlearly and obviously far less damaging/fatal.
