Someone Will Be Denied An Abortion

The 5th Circuit knows this is going to get stayed. Why the aggression?

The providers filed an emergency motion Saturday night, asking the appeals court to issue a temporary stay or send the matter back to a lower court. The 5th Circuit denied the request Sunday afternoon.

reply

Well, since liberals now think the government has the right to tell people what they can do with their bodies, I'm sure they'll be okay with this.

reply

I assume you're talking about imaginary liberal plans for forced vaccination?
they dont want that, they just dont want you spreading it around

reply

The government already forces vaccinations.

The only question is will they force this one. A vaccine that hasn't gone through the normal testing time. A vaccine that has been proven to not be as effective as originally claimed. And even force it on people who've already had Covid 19, so are naturally immune.

reply

Nobody is naturally immune, there are people, many people that have had covid more than once, and thats exactly why the "vaccine" doesn't work. you're assuming that covid is like chicken pox, once you have chicken pox, you'll never ever get it again. thats because there are antibodies. and a vaccine depends of these antibodies. my own father had covid in mid 2020, he recovered and tested positive again last month, even though he's recieved 2 doses of the vaccine.

Theres no immunity, it's fiction.

reply

Nobody is naturally immune/Theres no immunity, it's fiction.

Without a peer-reviewed study by an accredited research facility, this is just misinformation. So are you also claiming that immunity from the flu and common cold also do not exist? If you're a fatty with health problems, of course natural immunity is going to be shit.

many people that have had covid more than once

Or the flu, or a cold.... the soon-to-be discontinued PCR test can't tell the difference between the 3 of them.

What I hate are anti-vaxxers acting like they are an authority on public health.
They don't give a crap about Public Health, they just keep searching for a wedge to drive normal, proper-thinking people in a direction that is divisive for the country, to better chances for Pro-Business Capitalists to suck more money from the masses and walk away laughing.

Oh really??

What is your age/weight and BF%?

How are your HDL/LDL levels these days?

Drink? Smoke? Drugs? Eat carbs?

What is your exercise regimen?

Do you lift?

What is your vitamin/supplement stack?

My last "sick day" at work with a respiratory illness was in 2012. People at work ask me advice on how I stay so youthful and healthy at my age...so yes, I will act like I'm an authority on health because I LITERALLY AM.

reply

Nothing imaginary about it.

Stick your head in the sand.

reply

Yup, "my body, my choice" has died with the covid clotshots. The government owns women's bodies now.

reply

It's Republicans that prevent women from getting abortions. If abortions and access to birth control were free, we'd save a ton of money and perhaps we'd slow down minorities from becoming the majority (side benefit for Republicans).

reply

"and perhaps we'd slow down minorities from becoming the majority"

Wow.

Margaret Sanger, is that you?

reply

I do not care if Hispanics & Latinos become the majority in the US, but the America first, White Nationalists certainly do have a problem. Not saying all Republicans are White Nationalists.

reply

You're the one advocating abortion to keep down the minority population, Margaret.

reply

I'm advocating for abortion.

reply

And now we know why.

reply

no , we know why Republicans are all for it:
Religious zealotry
and keeping minorities down - a side benefit (in their eyes) pointed out by filmtenk and deliberately misquoted to fit your own ends by yourself.

You've used this whole thread about far right conservative religious fanatic antiquated abortion policy to somehow keep bashing the left , starting with your reply to the op

What I said:

"Well, since liberals now think the government has the right to tell people what they can do with their bodies, I'm sure they'll be okay with this."

How you get "far right conservative religious fanatic antiquated abortion policy" from that, who the fuck knows? You're obviously fucking delusional.

And YOU'RE the one calling abortion of minorities a 'side benefit'. And then trying to project it onto me. YOU'RE the one promoting abortion, so YOU'RE the one who must want those 'side benefits.'

Stop posting like an idiot. If you're going to respond to my posts, try to respond to what I actually say, not make up shit you think I believe.

so deliberate deflection of the Texas hard right abortion policy onto some made up
" liberals now think the government has the right to tell people"
- changing the subject to one you made up

"And YOU'RE the one calling abortion of minorities a 'side benefit'."

NO, me and Filmtemk postulated that REPUBLICANS would consider that a side benefit, not that we ourselves would. becasue we wouldnt. as he quite clearly stated :
I do not care if Hispanics & Latinos become the majority in the US

Yes, I brought up a different subject that showed the hypocrisy of liberals. And there was nothing made up about it. Liberals have been very clear on the subject of abortion: No one gets to tell women what they can or can't do with their own bodies. Did I make that up?

And yet, now, with the vaccine, liberals have no problem telling people what they have to do with their own bodies. They've been very clear that people should be forced into taking the vaccine or suffer the consequences. Did I make that up?

So which is it? Do people have the right to control their own bodies or not?

"NO, me and Filmtemk postulated that REPUBLICANS would consider that a side benefit, not that we ourselves would. becasue we wouldnt."

Yes, it was very clear what you and the other idiot were doing. Just like you did with the religion bullshit, you attempted to define MY position with YOUR opinions of what you think I believe.

More dishonesty from you morons.

reply

The really weird thing about this Texas law is that it creates a new criminal act, and then permits people to file civil lawsuits against people committing said criminal act.

I've never heard of such a thing. If you witness a criminal act, don't you just report it to the police?

The point of a civil lawsuit is that someone did something that harmed you, and you want a judge to order that person to make you whole again. How much money did it cost you because some doctor gave some stranger an abortion?

reply

Holy shit I don't even think it's a crime under the new law - I don't know what it is.

The measure lets private parties sue anyone who helped a woman get an abortion -- and collect a minimum of $10,000 in damages per procedure -- but doesn’t authorize government officials to sue.

Cry more about American flags on trucks pussy

You gotta admit it's a weird law for someone who's been waiting for Roe to be overturned and suffering through like 20 GOP appointed justices and coming away empty handed. Almost seems like Roe's not a high priority for US Chamber of Commerce, Business Roundtable, Club For Growth, etc.
