My first kudos to Biden

What is it? Biden's response to the riots. I respect Biden's words regarding the riots. He made a POINT of making a CLEAR distinction between rioters and protesters. This is in stark contrast to Donald and his cultists who lump them all into one entity.

What Biden said was presidential: a unifying statement that pays respects to protesters speaking out against riots and violence. He didn't try to justify violence. He didn't try to pander by condoning it. He spoke truth. It was Damn presidential.

After 4 years of this Trump fever dream, I almost forgot what it was like to hear something presidential.

While I'm not a fan of Biden, I can at least say this: He knows how to be presidential in his message. He speaks of unity.

We need that right now. We desperately need that right now.

Will he be a good president? I doubt it. Will he at least be a decent human being and better president than Trump? Without a doubt.

Four years of "boring Biden" over four more years of an infantile, orange clown? Yes, please!

D-League, you're posts are so amusing in an idiotic way. It's so funny to see a person eat horseshit and then peddle it as if it were polished diamonds.

We know it's BLM and Anti-Fa, yes? Has either group spoken up to condemn the pillaging? Nope. So what does that mean? It means they are both actively pillaging. What did Shaun King say publicly? Dox the cop or else. Clearly as a BLM spokesperson, he's using the mob as a weapon. Doesn't sound "peaceful" in the least.

What else is obvious to everyone except yourself, is you eat the horseshit you peddle freely. I actually think you believe the horseshit you are spreading. You're thoroughly broken D-League. 2+2=5.

reply

"It's so funny to see a person eat horseshit and then peddle it as if it were polished diamonds."

This from the user who cries like an infant about personal attacks every single time someone disagrees with his nasty BS.

Even in response to a post as reasonable and fair as dteam6's above you can't help yourself but act like a bully who has no capacity to even acknowledge an opposing argument, let alone debate it in any meaningful way. To me the OP was not unfairly critical of Trump or overly supportive of Biden either, it just seemed like an observation on who has the experience and compassion to promote unity during a time of unrest. You might disagree with the suggestion that Biden is the man to do it, but you can't deny the fact that Trump has already had his chance and has screwed it up beyond all recognition.

In any case flaming other users won't help your guy win.

reply

Cries like an infant? Wow! You’re such a bigger person, aren’t you? Starting off being a hypocrite doesn’t do you any favors, does it?

Again, has Anti-Fa or BLM condemn the pillaging? No. Well they had 3 whole months to do so. You think they are contributing to the rioting we’re seeing? Are they groups of the left or right? Seriously, why are these obvious points beyond you? So what argument of his is valid, pray tell? Ignorance is Strength, innit?

I don’t know how things are run down under, but there are mayors and governors that run their respective cities and states. For them to deny the aid of the federal government and then bitch about it that they receive no help is just a joke. Only a total moron would believe the horseshit these mayors and govs spew.

It’s only obvious you are biased even not being from the US. You didn’t take any of the facts I listed to heart, but rather hypocritically attacked me in defense. What a joke.

LOL! I'm not ashamed of a single word I've stared around here and literally the ONLY people who take issue with my posting history are you Trumpers. Honestly, that's a ringing endorsement: Trumpers hate what I say. I'll wear that as badge of honor, buddy-boy. :)

reply

That's right Fredo. You're smaht! You can do ding! Not like everybody says. I'm starting to understand the psyche of a shameless idiot.

Biden has said a lot of not-demented things, overshadowed by Trump's every present passing gas over the entire country 7x24x365.

There was a recent interview in the New Yorker here :
Would an Election Victory Be Joe Biden’s F.D.R. Moment?
https://www.newyorker.com/podcast/political-scene/would-an-election-victory-be-joe-bidens-fdr-moment

It is clear that maybe Biden fumbles a bit with words, but there is a sharp and human mind behind his always, and he does the best he can to serve the country.

Trump is as close as America has ever come to tottering on tyranny and fascism. He has never undertaken to do the job of President, he has been invading the country from inside the whole time, expressing hate and contempt for more than half of Americans.

He has used the entire executive branch as his own personal social network, subsuming Facebook and the media and dumping on the entire country every day. He is the 1984 Orange Big Brother.

Look here, ladies and gents. Brux. A perfect example of an indoctrinated komrade. These young, uneducated people are ripe for propaganda to fill their minds. The leftists agenda own:

Hollywood.
The mainstream media.
Colleges and Universities.

Education, Entertainment, Infotainment are all controlled by leftists. Even the ACLU under the guise of civil liberties, acts as a leftist organization to curb speech. The Ministry of Truth is all controlled by the leftists.

With snowflakes being constantly berated with microagressions, they can play the victim and will once again, come to the state for aid to enact more restrictions on the populace, thus the state gains more power to control them.

Leftists constantly feed horseshit daily and the uneducated non-thinkers continually eat it and become peddlers themselves.

Thing is, many of them march within the protestor group so they get lumped into one. 'Peaceful' protestors don't do anything about it and just let it happen so people only see 1 enemy and paint the whole group, especially for those who have their businesses and stores destroyed/looted.

Biden's anti-minority policies have directly led to these riots.

How's the weather in China today?

reply

>? Biden's anti-minority policies have directly led to these riots.

Why would a Russian need to know about the weather in China?

Only a Ukrainian would ask this...

If Trump gets a pass for wrongfully condemning the Central Park Five, for wrongfully condemning Obama's legit birth certificate, for supporting the Clintons and Harris for being tough on black criminals... Then surely Biden can get a pass for that 26 year old legislation that had bipartisan support.

Trump has had a history of being tough on blacks who he believes have broken the law. And when he's wrong about a black person breaking the law, he looks for something else they might have done wrong to justify his disdain for them.

It's only now Trump is trying to change his image with Kushner's First Step Act which attempts to shorten prison sentences. Yet Biden changed his tune over 12 years ago with the Second Chance Act.

reply

Trump has done more for black Americans than Obama.

reply

You can't possibly know the full effects of Trump's legislation specifically on black people though. And you can't know it was superior to Obama's clemency executive order. You also can't know the effect Obama's economy had on black people after getting us out of the 2007 recession compared to Trump lowering unemployment from 5% to 4% and now taking us up to 20%.

You're saying it because it sounds good and you want it to be true, not because you know it is.

Oops, I dropped this...

Brewer is a hack who loves his tax cuts like every republican.

Unemployment was lowering in 2017 before any legislation was passed. Then Brewer gets his tax cut a year later and says Trump did all this stuff for poor people.

Yet when Obama was lowering unemployment from 10% to 5%, and helped millions of black people afford healthcare with direct legislation backed by Obama that Brewer could point to... Brewer's take was "Yeah, Obama helped black people, but we didn't like the deception." "Gruber" talking points straight from the RNC establishment.

While lowering unemployment and helping poor people afford healthcare, Obama made the mistake of not giving rich republicans a tax cut. Boo hoo.

'almost forgot what it was like to hear something presidential'.

I lol when I read that because I was thinking the same thing .

You mean like this? This was "presidential", right?

reply

Sad, isn't it? Biden's not even close to great presidential material and yet his words were like a breath of fresh air.

"He's not Donald" is now the best we can hope for.

We need a serious change to our checks and balances so that a monster like Trump can never occur again.

reply

What ever it takes to get trump OUT.

reply

I agree! Addressing the seriousness of an important issue without encouraging violence. That's what a good president does! Not call the actual victims "thugs" and make excuses for the suspect's (cops who shoot) horrible actions.

No one is asking Biden to be perfect or take the crown as "best president".
But a leader should at least, be decent and caring enough to look out for the best interest of the people, and not turn them against each other!

reply

He's not a bullying buffoon like Trump. He doesn't divide like Trump. He doesn't scare the hell out of me like Trump. I'm content with that for now.

reply

'He doesn't divide..."?? I'd say that he can barely add.

Probably a nice guy, but if it doesn't scare you that this is the best the Democrat party has to offer, an aging statesman clearly past his prime, then you're not paying attention.

reply

You riden with Biden?

Maybe you should drive!

reply

Glad you feel that way. As you know there are many far right Trump trolls on this board who get their jollies from vandalizing sane conservation. Best to just ignore them.
Anyway, I'm a strong Biden supporter, and all I can say is wait until the debates. Biden will decimate Trump, and prove that good can defeat evil! His Presidency will not be boring, it'll be dynamic as we reverse the move toward Fascism under Trump and restore our nation and standing in the world. Welcome onboard!

reply

I will preface this reply by stating most of us Trump voters are not “trolls”. Are you a far left Biden troll?

Better “vandalizing sane conservation” than vandalizing and burning businesses! Most of those who do the destruction are Biden supporters. You don’t see Trump voters doing wanton destruction! BLM aka Burn, Loot, Murder and Antifa are alt left Democrats.

”Biden will decimate Trump, and prove that good can defeat evil! His Presidency will not be boring, it'll be dynamic...”

“Dynamic”? I doubt very seriously he’s full of energy and new ideas. Those rose colored glasses must have cost you a fortune! I have yet received an answer to my OP inquiry. Several weeks ago I wrote an OP regarding what would Biden do differently if he is served the same garbage Trump has been served. Think of an undecided voter. What would you say to persuade the voter to vote for Biden? The only answers I received were akin to the following: “Trump is a buffoon.” “I hate Trump!” “Trump is a racist!” In other words “I hate Trump!” Biden voters are unable to list his planned policies. It’s just “I hate Trump!”

Will Biden cure Covi-19? Up until Covid-19 this country was working economically to the good. People were working, found jobs which weren’t available before Trump.

Biden plans on raising taxes on struggling businesses which will exacerbate the current job losses. I never could understand why people vote to raise taxes on themselves. He will shut down the country if suggested by the scientists who changed their minds about what to do with Covid-19...every other week! That would put the final nail in the coffin for this once great country.

Debates? He won’t even answer questions from reporters! His advisors want to keep him sheltered due to his numerous gaffes!

”If you don’t vote for me...you ain’t Black!”
