I think you’re drawing an incredibly long bow there. Fashion has been slutty since Madonna masturbated her way into our hearts onstage in the 80s. Anyway, isn’t there a strong argument to be made that dressing as provocatively as you like is the absolute definition of fuck-you feminism? Many people find it empowering to celebrate their sexuality without consideration of those who judge you or call you a whore for it. Personally, I hate the injected lip guppy fish mouth look that seems popular these days, but that’s a fad and if I don’t like, I don’t partake, simple as that. If it makes a beautiful girl happy to show her body off on socials then I’m certainly not objecting, nor am I thinking she doesn’t deserve to be respected or paid the same wage as me because I might think her photo is sexy.
