A fascinating read.
Considering it was mostly filmed in Ireland, with Irish bagpipes on the soundtrack instead of Scottish, the Scots were portrayed as primitive, backwards people wearing the wrong clothes, Mel Gibson's a little weed compared to the real William Wallace, and the battle at Stirling bridge didn't actually have a bridge, there's more reason for Scots to get upset about the film than the English.
It's one of the best comedies of the 90's though.
Miami Twice was the start of the decline of the show. Del having a doppelganger who was a gangster was nonsense. Awful episode.
Nah, Series 1 is piss poor, and Uncle Albert is much better than Granddad.
Each to their own. With the exception of Go West Young Man, I think series 1 is poor.
It's a shame about the music licencing cuts but at least we've finally got the uncut version of Jolly Boy's Outing with the cabaret singer sequence.
