This one finally dawned on me: "Hard To Say" by Dan Fogelberg. My mind has been working on this one all afternoon and it finally came to me! I should have gotten this one right away.
Several of the "unsolved ones" seem so familiar and I feel like I should know them. It's amazing how seeing the words without hearing the music/melody can make it so difficult to identify the song!
Awesome! I bet you'll remember this December for the rest of your life!
My now-ex brother-in-law made a cassette recording of Boston's debut album around the time "Third Stage" came out (I was a high-school Senior). I just loved both...Tom Scholz is one of my many "guitar heroes!" 😃 I sure do miss Brad Delp...what a voice he had! 😢
Awesome! I thought "Starfish" was an incredible recording. I really loved what I heard from The Church...but I never heard anything from them after that. Glad you got to see them live!
I think someone else had posted this earlier..."Let Me Take You Home Tonight" by Boston. Final track of a still-incredible debut album!
Happy New Year!
One of my all-time favorite songs: "Under The Milky Way" by The Church. I was a freshman in college when this song first came out. Great, great song!
I think this is "Angie" by The Rolling Stones.
Love this song also: "Here's Where The Story Ends" by The Sundays.
I think this one is from "Space Oddity" by David Bowie. Love the 12-string guitar on this one (another song I enjoy playing)!
Great song! Surprised again that no one got this: "In The Navy" by The Village People.
...back home."
"Golden Slumbers"--The Beatles
"Ol' 55"--The Eagles (although I think this one was written by Tom Waits...I know it as an Eagles song)
Styx: "Mr. Roboto." I actually like this song a lot, even though a lot of people point to it as being a sign of the decline of the band.
Another great song! "Eye In The Sky" by The Alan Parsons Project. I have to hear "Sirius" before I listen to this one, though! 😃
Great song! "'65 Love Affair" by Paul Davis. Haven't heard this song in ages!
Surprised no one got this one: "Born In The USA" by Bruce Springsteen.
"Saturday In The Park"--Chicago
