Terrible movie.
That was the only good thing about the movie. Ten seconds of jiggle.
I think Galaxy Quest was much better.
Well, that is literally what happened. They thought they had John Krasinski for the part, but that deal fell through. A week before shooting, somebody found Whitehall living in an old truck in an alley, and cast him for the part. The rest is history.
Cute movie. My first ever Paw Pets experience. Grandkids (7 1/2, and 6yo twins) really enjoyed it. The popcorn was delicious.
Sometimes a girl wants to look like a 50-year-old crack ho.
My thoughts exactly!
Fantasy.
Very.
I think this is the first terrible thing I've ever seen him in.
I didn't think any of the characters were believable (or likable).
And leaving the woman at the side of the road, was especially unbelievable. She only speaks Spanish, and he only speaks English, and neither one is trying to communicate with the other.

Frances McDormand – Fargo as Marge Gunderson‡
Brenda Blethyn – Secrets & Lies as Cynthia Rose Purley
Diane Keaton – Marvin's Room as Bessie
Kristin Scott Thomas – The English Patient as Katharine Clifton
Emily Watson – Breaking the Waves as Bess McNeill
That's why McDormand won Best Actress.
Enjoyed everything about it.
Would have been better as a TV miniseries, maybe?
They made four of them, I think. The Swan, Poison, The Rat Catcher, and The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar. All short stories by Roald Dahl.
It's different.
Start to finish.
This is some clever stuff. Just finished season one, so far season two is looking good.
In Alien, they're nowhere near any planet. In The Thing, they were stuck in the great white north. The Demeter's voyage would be hard to make without seeing any place to land.
Just finished season one. It was just right.
