The only one who looked familiar to me was Sewer Joe from Parks and Rec. But I know a lot of people who look like other people, so they would have fooled me. Enjoying this show, reminds me of the Joe Shmo Shows.

I think the whalers were after the whale brain juice, and humans were wanting to colonize the planet. I assumed Earthlings figured out years ago that they could capture those floating islands to get their unobtainium fix.

It's cute and fun. I'm over 60, and I'd have enjoyed it at any age. Keep in mind it's a cartoon. If Toy Story is a 9+ and Bad Guys is a 1+, this is about a 6.
