When I saw his name here in the Trending - my first thought was: "Oh dear, he is dead isnt he?"
That would be the only reason for him to suddenly appear there.
I remember when that movie came out and Hollywood woke press (there isnt other press in USA) went crazy with bashing it. Just because Jim woke up Aurora and wasnt punished for it. They took it personal because in their woke echo chamber all men are trash and have to suffer and be trashed. And movie didnt do it and gave him happy ending. That was the only reason they hated this movie.
No one even remembers Mother! It came, was hyped for few weeks then was forgotten.
It made $100 millions at domestic box office and $200 millions more overseas. On a budget of $110–150 million. I guess no one knows the real budget.
They expected it to make more, probably some $180 millions in USA and some 300 overseas for some total of $500 millions worldwide. Because they thought that Jennifer Lawrence is a big box-office star. Which she never was. Its all hype in press. She made few ensembles with other famous actors. But no one will come to movie specially because of her.
And neither is Chris Pratt, he is just very lucky to pick projects that would make money. But Jurassic World and Guardians would be successful with any actor.
Here producers miscalculated the real star power of those two actors. They really thought it would make over 150 millions. But it made 100 millions. Which was still good, that movie did not flop and studio didnt lose money. It just didnt perform to expectations.
And it was penned by leftie woke critics and their press. People who watched it - loved it. Its very rewatchable movie and those kind of movies that will be shown constantly on tv even 20 years after release.
She looks the same everywhere. Its rather Chris Pratt never looked hotter in this movie. He was so lean and good in this.
He always has problems with his weight and constantly has to work out. But its hard and sometimes he almost look chubby again. Marvel even made joke about it, I think in Thor 3. I think one character said that he is on the verge of being fat.
Here he had his perfect weight. Of not being too skinny or too masculine.
I rolled my eyes. That was such stupid and nonsense advice. Shows how dumb both of them are.
Adele should have advice her not to do Mother! and Red Sparrow.
Passengers is a rare movie in her career that is actually watchable and has depth. She does so many forgettable crap movies. Causeway, Red Sparrow, Joy, Serena, House at the End of the Street.... Does anyone remember plot of American Hustle or Silver Linings Playbook? I watched and I dont. They hyped those movies on awards season but they were so forgettable and boring that I doubt any person rewatched them.
While Passenger is a very good sc-fi movie. And those always stand time and people rewatch them. And they are always on tv on repeats. Its a movie that opens debate, people can discuss and choose sides and wonder what they would do in that situation. It had extremely bad marketing when they promoted it like it was some "love story in space". It looked boring in trailers.
Movie should have been marketed the way it is - its about person who woke up alone on a ship and cant go back to sleep.
I rewatched trailer. Its bad. First 40 seconds its boring love story between Chris and Jennifer. Then its popcorn action. While first half of the movie it was all about Chris waken up and wondering lonely on a ship facing the prospect to die alone of old age and making choice to wake up or not other people.

Crazy woke letfies and their press hated this movie because in the end there was happy ever after for Jim after he woke up Aurora. And they wanted him to suffer consequences and die or something. Like movie should have out loud say he was bad guy and punish him. But it didnt. So they attacked movie and actors for making it.
Movie was great. It was very well made sci-fi movie and we dont have many of those.
Characters were dull but its Tom Cruise movie. Most of them have dull characters and Tom plays the same role in every movie.
Story was very interesting with unexpected twist.
They stopped doing Ghost Face parody and moved to another movies. I guess thats why.
Overall I didnt like Doofy and he wasnt funny. He was just gross.
Hollywood men dont understand it. They are so up their own entitlement and virtue signaling that they think they know better.
I hate those non-sending so much. Its like writers just dont know how to write a good and satisfying ending so they just end movie when there has to be explanation.
And so many low-budget movies have those non-endings. Eventually whats the point to watch them if nothing will be concluded?
Problem with movie writers that they can create interesting premise. But then they simply dont know how to end it. And people and critics should hand them responsible and write more about it.
End of the floors was just a McGuffin. They dint know how to explain it. They created Woman with Lost child. So they decided to bring up that child. Only to make it another McGuffin.
Honestly I would like them to show at the end how they all were on another planet and aliens were experimenting. At least then movie would make some sense and purpose. Or it was virtual reality.

- black woman being loud and obnoxious in theater. She even brought her own chicken. They would call this racist and stereotype.
- trans gym teacher. Man dressed as a woman. They used this for laugh and Cindy was horrified when she saw his balls. These days people are not allowed to be horrified and laugh at it. They should be inclusive and happy and supportive. Remember woketards shame Friends and try to cancel it because Chandler had trans dad and it was used for jokes.
- Ray’s gayness used as a constant punchline and joke. Like its something he should be ashamed for because people would laugh.
- Gays being villains.
- Cindy is being hit in a face and beat up by blond guy.
- Overweight girl at a party tried to escape through small door for dogs. It was used as a joke, that she cant fit in because she is fat. Just few days ago Taylor Swift was forced to remove word "fat" from her new video because woketards went crazy saying she thinks being fat is bad. This is considered fat shaming. They would be crucified for that scene.
- Drew saying to killer on the phone that she "has a boyfriend and he is black and will kick his arse". Racists stereotype that black men are big and aggressive or something. Just saying the word "black" would be offensive to white woke liberals.
- Doofy pretending to be mentally challenged. And everyone constantly laughed at him for that. Its some offense to mentally ill people. Woketards would find a reason.
If this movie would come out today - it would be crucified in press and cancelled before release. And all actors would be bullied and forced to apologize for being in it.
It is. Strangely but this film doesnt stand time. They dont show it constantly on tv. Its like everyone just forgot about its existence.
Its a good movie, I like it. But nothing great. And I could never understand the meaning of Kim Basinger character and her existence. They were hyping her so much when it came out. Giving awards. But she was so bland and boring. Like a mannequin. She was miscast. She has zero charisma with Russel Crowe character.
What I get from this show is that oath means noting in that world. Which is funny how everyone teased and
mocked poor Jamie Lannister for "breaking the oath". While in reality everyone breaks their oath at a glimpse.
All those Houses and lords do is betraying people they swore to serve. Even those knights of the Kingsguard. Rhaenyra was declared official heir. Which means they have to serve her the moment king died. Then usurpers declare another child as new king and they all go and serve usurper without any hesitation....
Kid Blue was just a red herring. He could not be Abes son. "Brother" is all I can fit in. Older or younger.
He didnt spoil since he didnt know. He just guessed that from the trailer because it was obvious to him. Because writers were that lazy. And I kinda hoped that writers would not be that stupid and be that obvious. But they did.
I think show made up 3 characters who werent in the books. Black Elf, weird tall guy and pretty face. So it could only be one of them. It was obvious that black elf isnt Sauron since he had his own love story. Tall guy looked like future Gandalf. And show portrayed him as good guy who was confused. That leaves us with slippery, devious, canny pretty face who showed up out of nowhere and for no reason become main character and hanging out with Galadriel. Remember that she just bumped into him in the sea and then everyone on that raft conveniently died. It was kinda obvious that only this guy can be Sauron.
I feel like this thing hasnt happened in the book and they made that up for the show. Because there is no way she would leave them all alive.
But that scene was very stupid since the writers portray her as one of the good people. While she killed hundreds of innocent civilians with her glorious entrance.
It was so boring that I stopped watching after 2 episodes. Then watched finale because everyone said it was so ridiculously bad. And it was.
That was not hate-watch bad. It was boringly bad.

I watched it. It was quite boring.
But at least I found out that Stallone has a brother who is singer and a little famous. I was surprised.
Damn that family has genes. Their lips are so alike.
The whole: "Pods will never broke" was ridiculous and unrealistic and they added that into movie only because they needed plot to move. People who made that ship would have to have procedure how to put people in sleep again. So we have to accept that.
This show had only 4 seasons. Period.
Glee had one season. Heroes had one season.
Some shows just dont know when to stop and are too greedy. They tell all important stories in one 1-3 seasons and then they just drag it to oblivion. This show was legendary in first few seasons. Then gang had to move to university and magic was lost.
Original show died when Brenda left. With some shows its better to watch good seasons and then pretend that show ended so not to see it painfully die into cancellation.
