but he doesn't ALWAYS come down, the first two who break the rules are "corrected" by someone else, and then big guy that all five of them go down to get without Dagin Babi. If he spawns in the higher levels, he comes down and people follows him because they know them, but will be different people depending on how they're spawned that month. I don't think there's anything wrong with that aspect of the story. Interesting! I did notice the character Imoguiri (played by Antonia San Juan) who's interviewing the main character, Perempuán in this one! I didn´t remember the fate of that character, but now that you mention it, it makes sense that this is a prequel! It's a VERY confusing last 20 minutes, even going further confusing after the first credit titles come out. But thinking about it as a prequel, I think it'd be very interesting to re watch the first film. I wasn't planning to, but I'm really intrigued if it will give more sense to this film, as I feel like there's quite a lot going on that needs to be analysed carefully. I personally didn't find it a bad film or a money grab like some are saying here, there's a strong concept going on in the movie which is probably trying to send a message that's not very clear but it's definitely there. what? It's just a detail. It's not a plot detail, but it adds consistency to what you're watching, why does it bother you? It's definitely a very minor detail, true that doesn't make a difference, but it's not incoherent. I'm trying to figure out something else from this movie, so I'll use this chance with you ;D Why does the killed use these injection tech instead of just killing the targets in a "normal" way? The real important tech here is the time travelling, so what's up with the injections? I don't get it :/ When she say "your partner" I'm pretty sure she's talking about his wife, as she was talking about her daughter being born. Phrasing it like that is to add shock when we see the scene when the wife dies, but I actually instantly thought she was meaning his wife because the phrasing was weird. But... we haven't understood entirely how time works, there are only theories, if time travel is or not possible, we'll only know when we do. All the theories we have now are only that because we don't know enough. No one believes things can be done until they're done, it has happened way too many times to not have learn that lesson. So, if in this movie, they discovered the way to travel in time, even if the explanation is insufficient or unsatisfactory, just roll with it and see what happens, it's a bit silly to object a whole movie because of science that we don't understand yet, if ever... MILD SPOILER AHEAD Something that bothered me more from this movie (even if I actually liked it!) was the way the killer kills, why the injections? That's something that I really didn't understand and didn't get an explanation. It's a big deal of the mystery of the movie in the first half too! It seems like the Scientist is developing this tech to kill, but the main thing to achieve the plan is actually the time travelling, the targets could have been killed in a more "natural" or normal (and also less suspicious) way, as she was making physical contact with them. I honestly didn't get why that whole plot thing, I guess I'm missing something... please let me know if I do! :) View all replies >
