So, what was that about?
Most of people, including the Oscars and critics are raving about how mind blowing this movie is, so after watching what for me was a pretty straight forward, clear and easily understandable movie, I was wondering if I actually missed something.
Doesn't seem so, but I can't find anything about the funeral scene when Rose gets the rings and seems relieved or/and happy... that certainly means something but I couldn't find anything by googling..

My thought was her mother in law was saying, "Welp, he's dead, I was saving these for Phil's wife-to-be (not that that would ever come), but since you're my only option now, here you go."

A weird showing of acceptance, perhaps?

I thought the same, although I interpreted the tone more like, "Now that Phil and his controlling self is gone, I'm free to have normal relationships with people."
