"Paddys Pub: The Worst Bar in Philadelphia" Its another film I bought at Dollar Tree and I liked it I enjoyed this movie How to create the black spoiler line? What is a joke or situation from the show that has stuck with you? A thought I considered as the film progressed. Spoilers about the ending. A thought I had about Jerrys Friend/Assistant/Daytime Guardian Billy Cole Could you take a charged laptop out in the woods middle of the night and watch this alone? Ace: One scene I liked was when Dredd had a bunch of children threatening him with guns, but Dredd found a way to incapacitate the kids without killing them. It showed his humanity and discernment was not entirely black and white when it came to the law. Because didnt he say at some point in the movie that "Pointing a gun at a judge is a crime punishable by death". Yet he still managed to avoid hurting those kids. The atmosphere and lived in world feel really brought me in, the dialogue too. Some movies just bring you to their world they built well and this was one for me. "...Its all a deep end". I somtimes consider if it would stand on its own with no attachment to the MCU, but Captain America is the main hero so it at least needs him. It has been my favorite sometimes even more so than infinity wars. What about Captain America: The Winter Soldier? That movie was so good it stands alone without any other MCU to prop it up. "Vecna" was such a great villain and had motivations that were not so alien to us. Was glad to see such a step up for the antagonist in season four. When I watched this entire show with my Fiance (my second watch but her first time seeing the show, and both our first times watching season four) I would occasionally ask her where she thinks its going and also I speculated about <spoiler>if Dr. Brennan was truly dead since his death was not explicitly shown or if he would return</spoiler> it was a lot of fun to watch it and discuss it as the show went along. Im excited for season five when it arrives and I told my fiance she was spoiled as she could watch all four seasons whereas most of us had to wait years for seasons to come out xD I reckon Doc wanted Marty to live his life free of the time machine and not endanger himself to come save him, basically accepting his fate. But Doc should have known Marty might come help him. Sending the letter ensured it, then again he had to send the letter so Marty could find the hidden time machine and return to his own time. Also It was discovering Docs tombstone that truly propelled Marty to take action. Marty could no longer think of Doc enjoying a retirement in a western town, he only saw Doc as being dead and buried and how he can still save him. Marty wants his friend back, not an alternate or paradox version of his friend. He wants the Doc Brown that he lived his adventures with. They are all Doc Brown sure, but Marty wants to help the present Doc Brown from his "final fate" of getting trapped in 1885. How can you live your life knowing your friend could have been helped and you didnt save him because the flow of time dictated Doc Brown was technically still around? No his friend needed help and Marty could help him. Its a movie I used to watch all the time, its got good science fiction elements, and decent laughs. Its entertaining. Lol that was a genuinely funny ending point to your message, albeit disturbing. The common renowned scientists of our day seem to just talk theory or regurgitate talking points of physics. Brett Weinstein talked about how if you question the narrative and try to push boundaries you are met with opposition from the scientific community. Its bizarre but it seems to be a repeating factor in history that you have to go outside the box to come up with new inventions and revelations. Do you like Westerns? I dont like westerns much but This movie endeared to me because of the characters and the science fiction and adventure element. Even them finding the delorean time machine hidden inside the mine piqued my imagination. I say give it another chance! Also I have always liked trains and thats a major point in the climax I enjoyed part 1 much more than part 2. I understand the locale it all takes place on dune but its just not enough color. Its all dirt and black suits. Then the Harkonnen world is all white with a black sun. I didnt hate it, but part 1 seemed to have more going on. View all replies >
