Agreed. Well-made, well-acted, interesting film. Not sure she was ever 'the most popular female celebrity in the world', but she torpedoed her own career. No matter how strongly she felt she was in the right over what she said (if that is indeed what happened), it was unbelievably naive of her. That's what I heard. It's a real shame how she screwed things up. She was so promising. I watched Mean Girls for the first time in years quite recently - I'd forgotten how funny it was! Hope she keeps things on track this time around. The time to end this show was way before then! Have they coined the name 'Dune-iverse' yet? One I will look out for! We don't want her! It's great, but I have to go with Elfman's Edward Scissorhands, hands-down my favourite film score of all. Good for Moorcock. A lesbian who killed? Or someone who killed lesbians? Happy Birthday, Goldie! Happy Birthday, Lorna! Happy Birthday, Juliet! Happy Birthday, Jena! There are lessons there to be learned for sure, but will anybody actually learn them? Probably not. I haven't seen this version, and from comments I've seen from many people whose horror likes align pretty close to mine I've no wish to. The original Candyman is one of the all-time greats; the sequels are weak, and in comparison to the first are crap.
