True, but when you have over 30 allegations of harassment, it really does not look good and this is coming from some one who very much enjoys his acting. Gibson is a racist, but he is not a sexual predator like Spacey. There is no law against being a jerk, but there is a law against sexual harassment and assault. No. Washington is average height. Elizabeth Debicki is just very tall (especially for a women). Unfortunately, I think this is it. However, it would be a great performance (one of his best) and movie to end on. It was also stated in multiple publications that he turned the role down multiple times and this was with his friends De Niro and Scorcese. I really would not consider 5'7 a midget. Now Danny Devito is a different story. He's not a midget and he's not ugly, but I definitely would not call him hot. As for the teen girl that tries to seduce him, I do not really think she saw him as attractive. He was just a way to get her away from her boring, dead-end life. Plus her boyfriend was a creep, virtually anyone would have been an improvement. Glengarry Glen Ross and Spartan. I agree with you on Keeneu doing a terrible British accent and giving a very bad performance, but everything else I must disagree on. I thought Hopkins did a wonderful job as Van Helsing and demonstrates his versatility by playing a role so unlike his previous one (The Silence of the Lambs). Not sure what you mean when you say Hopkins was drunk most of the time. Unless that impedes his performance, I really don't see how that makes the movie worse. While it is public knowledge that Oldman and Wynona did not get along, I do not think it impacts the performances, because I think Ryder is miscast and not especially good in the movie. Oldman did a decent job and made Dracula a more sympathetic villain. Well I would not say that is entirely true. I thought Bram Stoker's Dracula was very atmospheric and effective and thought he did a decent job with The Rainmaker. But despite those two films he never came anywhere close to his 70s output. Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. The movie adaptations seemed to have dried up as his last story to be adapted was Christmas with the Kranks, which is an awful movie. I think law movies had their heyday in the 90s and then they stopped producing them. However, he still writes as I see his new novels in print in libraries and Wal-Mart. I also remember liking the book more as well, but still very much enjoyed the film. MAJOR SPOILER. For the life of me i cannot remember what happens to Joe. I know the father runs away and the family begins to start a somewhat functional life, but happens to Joe? No matter how much I think I cannot remember how the character ends up in the book. If anyone remembers can they please let me know? Thanks. Not trying to be mean but, are you crazy? His presidency was a spectacular disaster. There was a reason he lost by a landslide to Reagan. Well if all of his taxes are paid off then he should be more selective in his filmography, because nearly all the movies he does now are low budget crap. Both suck and are smug. All right you got me with Mosquito Coast (which also turns out to be Ford's favorite of his own films). But with a career as long as his you would think he would have more stand-out performances. Now don't get me wrong he makes entertaining movies that I love watching, but I feel that he is always playing a version of himself and has never really stretched when taking roles. Yeah, those tales have become public knowledge. It's too bad he only does straight-to-DVD crap, but even when he is in big budget movies he phones it in. He had a small part in Motherless Brooklyn which lost money. He also starred in Glass which was a terrible conclusion to the Unbreakable trilogy and he seems to barely care or register an emotion in the movie. So I say based on his piss poor work ethic and lack of enthusiasm in working in bigger budget movies along with a poor attitude that has burned many bridges, his days as a leading man are over. Sounds about right. That also seemed like the year he began to appear in straight-to-DVD schlock, that gradually increased with each passing year. I just thought that people have at least one redeeming value, but apparently I was wrong. Lol. Fair enough. I don't like Vin Diesel either. His Bloodshot movie was one of the worst movie's of the year. What are you Johnson's agent or biggest fan?
