It's been a while since I've seen that episode, so I can't really remember. My favorite Lafayette officer is the middle-aged black guy who stopped a car I believe for speeding in a motel, and later found drugs on the suspects. He seemed like a cool guy. It wouldn't really surprise me if he used another drug too. I'm surprised the NOPD didn't try using another weapon like a baton or taser since the mace obviously didn't work at all. That was one of the funniest segments too. I laughed the most when he bangs on the bathroom door and starts yelling nonsense and how he freaks out right before he fights with police. That was a classic right there. I was certain he was intoxicated, as a normal person wouldn't pretend to arrest or beat up someone. He also pretended to beat up the suspect? That is funny and strange at the same time. That had to be very funny. Did he get a hold of an officer's handcuffs or did he use hand motions similar to someone getting arrested? Maybe it was the thick accent he had? I hope he got scared straight too. I don't know if I'd call the Cleveland one funny but it seems like I don't have any empathy considering he had no shame for what he did. That first segment had to be very interesting for sure. I'm sure that kid was in a whole lot of trouble when he got home. That's a shame. He seemed like a very funny and overall cool guy. I know it showed him at the bar and him getting arrested and put in the patrol car, but I'm not sure if they showed his funny comments or not. That Fresno segment was humorous too. It was really interesting that the suspect had no clue but the officer pulled the joint out and the suspect was like, oh there it is. I heard the officer died a few years after the segment was filmed. I did see the Naked Cops special from season 14, although it probably wasn't the whole segment. I think I might have seen that segment before in one of the season 14 "Best-of episodes". I'll have to go on Dailymotion to confirm. I laughed too at the midget doing flips and climbing the pole. At least Rosenthal helped him find a job which I liked. The Cleveland drunk guy actually said he was captured by the Germans? That's very funny. I agree he was funny in both and even Rosenthal thought he was interesting. I didn't know you knew a guy who was similar to the guy that screamed in the bushes. He must have been strange. I wouldn't be surprised if the suspect might have been on meth, as people who are on the drug tend to act strangely. I haven't seen that Cleveland segment you mentioned yet. It was used near the end of that episode. I'm betting it might have been accidentally placed in a syndicated edit. I prefer the blue logo better than the bland white logo. At least with the white logo, they added the cool police light effects. I did notice the logo starts out blue during the Spike/Paramount Network run. I thought the logo for the Cops Reloaded spinoff was very cool and liked the effects used there, as well as the sounds. I liked the American flag COPS logo a lot too. I liked it better than the main logo. Season 14, Episode 25 was the first episode the logo was used. I also noticed it was used in a syndicated edit for the John Walsh Jacksonville episode from season 13. That guy must have been very funny. I'll have to check that one out. Some of the funniest are: The midget from Las Vegas who said "I can break these cuffs" and thought Evan Rosenthal's police lights were Christmas symbols. The crackhead with the weird voice from Harris County in season 21. The one suspect who called the one man a "Privacy Rapist" from season 23. The season 14 car thief from Hillsborough county who said he got it from a Puerto Rican man named Ernie. The guy screaming in the bushes in Spokane County in season 26 who made weird statements like "Obama is my best friend". I would hope that nonviolent drug dealers/users have lots of empathy from other users. I would too.
