except that in the Stephen king shining the overlook doesn't exist anymore. no room 237, and I'm pretty sure no twins. i do hope they go off the Kubrick film, because the doctor sleep book isn't great.

it is supposed to be the year of the car. its set in the future but Kubrick put the dates in the newspapers from the 70's (1972 I think) he also put Alex last name as Burgess in the newspaper, when in fact it was DeLarge. one of the headlines in that paper also read's "Marty Feldman's wife Banned" lol

it was a great scene in the book. would be great in the film. the book is so huge though its impossible to add all those historic facts that king put in, so much great material, it would have to be like a 10 hour miniseries to even scratch the surface of the info in the book.

I think it was the doctor, he is obviously insane and he insisted on taking the bus with Michael. and if Michael did cause the bus crash then why didn't he kill the doctor then?
