Winning Oscars isn't everything. The ultimate goal when making a movie is not to win an Oscar. Is just an awards show at the end of the year, that's it. In my opinion, you can make an argument for any of the nominee's to be the winner. They just have to pick one of them as the winner. It doesnt mean it's always the right one. I think Mr. Scorsese is more than content with his film legacy.
