Well Christmas will be different for me this year. I usually host 2 family parties and several others for friends during the holiday season.
Still working on ideas for the family, but Thursday I'm having a patio party for some friends that will be in place of the one I usually do in December.
I'm putting up some Christmas decorations, will play holiday music, and we have a gift exchange. My neighbors will probably think I'm crazy, but indoor get togethers won't happen this year. It should be fun.

shareGood for you for making the best of an odd situation
Not seeing dear friends and close family is the worst part of all of this mess but I suppose it's unavoidable just now
We are considering getting a large commercial party tent and using space heaters for the family. We would have to do a combo Thanksgiving and Christmas event. We frequently have mild weather late November and into December, so it could work. Other than that, family get togethers won't happen.
shareIt is really sad that I won't be able to do any Christmas shopping in stores this year.
I have to buy all gifts over the Internet and get them through the mail.
Unfortunately, that means that some deacon from my mother's church has to get some of them for me. :/
(Some parcels don't fit into my mail box, so somebody has to get pick them up at a store somewhere.)
I'm always looking forward to Christmas. It's the one time of year that feels so much different than the rest of the year.
shareI think it's cancelled in Britain, new years too. Just gonna be me and the cat from the looks of things 🙁
shareit might be canceled
